SR-Skateparks was born from direct experience with skateboarding and a shared passion for designing urban spaces. That vision allows us to clearly understand the difference between a park conceived only on paper and one designed to be truly enjoyed in practice.

Today, we combine the technical rigor of urban planning with experience in sport. We have a specialized team made up of architects and athletes that designs parks addressing both the technical needs of skateboarding (lines, transitions, materials) and urban planning requirements (integration with the surroundings, vegetation, accessibility). The result is spaces that enrich not only users but society as a whole.

What sets us apart

  • Design from experience: We know the difference between a space designed only on paper and one meant to be genuinely enjoyed. We pay attention to lines, transitions, materials and finishes to achieve fluid, well-executed spaces.
  • Connection with the community (Citizen participation): Listening to those who will use the space is an essential part of the process. We incorporate citizen participation from the earliest stages of the project to understand real needs and create places that are more vibrant and connected to their surroundings.
  • Urban evolution: We move away from the traditional model of an isolated, leftover skatepark. We design spaces integrated into the city, open and compatible with other uses and ways of inhabiting public space.
  • Beyond the skatepark: We create attractive spaces that allow real coexistence between users and pedestrians through a broader urban richness: skate plazas, skateable furniture, pump tracks and integrated landscaping.

In this type of project, execution is everything. A small lip or a poor finish in the concrete can ruin the park. We control transitions down to the millimeter to ensure a safe, exemplary space.
